Have found these scissors to be very sharp with a fine point that lets me get into even the tightest places on small flies to trim materials. They also are very smooth when cutting deer or elk hair, can barely feel any resistance when cutting the hair. They a very comfortable to use, fit my big hand well, and allow me to do anything in need to do while tying. BTW they also work great for needlepoint / cross stitch :). I find them a pleasure to use.
