A biodegradable putty strike indicator for staying in touch with flies and keeping rivers clean.

Bio strike

Convenient product go as big or small as you need without searching for a different size indicator. The Orange has nice visibility. Easily goes on and off and for the most part stays put. Environmentally friendly is a plus if you do lose it. Reusable

Excellent indicator

Easy to put on, move and remove. I fish year around, and have found that this hardens up in cold weather. If you put it in an inside pocket to keep it warm it works well. Much more subtle than a thing-a-ma-bobber and easier to carry and use. Great addition to my fishing arsenal.

Best Indicator Going

Biostrike is a great product. It can be added, moved or removed easily depending on the conditions. It casts well and is highly visible at a distance, I find the orange and pink work best for my 60+ year old eyes. I usually use one indicator placed above the nymph about 1 to 1-1/2 times the water depth. If the water gets deeper than about 3 feet I add a second indicator about 3 feet above the first one. Even with two indicators and some Deep Soft Weight a few inches above the fly the whole rig still casts well, maybe not quite as well as the old Scientific Anglers indicators (no longer made) but plenty good enough. Kudos for being biodegradable.

Great product but…….

This is a terrific product but it does tend to harden up and not attach well to the line when temp’s dip.
